This can range from small pieces of work such as supporting organisations to produce appropriate policy or procedure documents and guidelines in particular areas or topics through to undertaking more major pieces of work like conducting service reviews and subsequent reports addressing challenges and making recommendations for change for larger organisations.
Consultancy could include:
- Acting as an independent facilitator to organisations where being detached from internal dynamics and politics at both micro and macro levels would be beneficial.
- Undertaking audits, service reviews and generating pro-active strategic options.
- Conducting individual pieces of work for organisations such as making grant applications, researching and writing policy documents required by registration or inspection bodies.
- Supporting organisations in relation to reviews of Workforce Development Strategies
- Supporting teams with conflict resolution.
- Supporting organisations develop strategic plans and clarify funding implications in relevant areas such as addressing future training needs or service developments.
To advise organisations in relation to the implications of new legislation or policy as it relates to the provision of Social Work, Social Care or Health services.
